首先我们可以根据标点符号将该句子大体划分为三个部分（1）In other words, at a time when the working class has turned the country on its political head，（2）frustrated that the opportunity that once defined America is vanishing, （3）one obvious solution is staring us in the face. 通过对于三个部分的分析，（1） 中 at a time 做整个句子的状语，when引导的从句 修饰前面 a time做定语从句，所以翻译的可以放在前面 at a time 之前。（2）句是when引导时间定语里的一部分，整体v-ed短语做原因状语修饰the working class has ……; that once defined America 为定语从句修饰前面the opportunity. (3)是整个句子的主句。One obvious solution 是主语，剩下是谓语部分。
